Where possible, we offer the whole range of NHS orthodontic treatments for patients up to the age of 18 who are eligible under certain criteria. Omagh Orthodontics are proud to say that we don't have a long waiting list for NHS treatment and it is therefore not necessary to be referred early to access the system. If you find that you are not eligible for NHS treatment or would prefer a low visibility or aesthetic brace for your child, we can offer treatment privately.

Adult orthodontics

If you're self conscious about your teeth or believe that only children can benefit from having straight teeth, you're mistaken. Adults can access private treatment to give you a fantastic smile too!

Following a private consultation, you can access our wide range of treatments including tooth coloured ceramic brackets, Invisalign or lingual braces.

We understand that not many people are in the position where they can pay upfront, which is why we have an interest free payment option to spread the cost over the duration of your treatment. Your payment could be as low as £99 per month. Treatment typically takes between 9 and 24 months depending on the type of treatment required. Your orthodontist will advise you about the length of treatment at the outset, so you are fully aware before treatment begins.

Invisalign braces are an incredibly popular option with adults due to the discrete nature of the treatment. Your treatment will be planned in advance, allowing you to understand and envisage when your treatment will be completed. Each brace is custom made for your teeth, reducing irritation, sores and scratches which are common with conventional braces. So if you're looking for a treatment that can improve your smile and become more confident, this might be the right treatment for you.

Many adults choose to not have braces through their teenage years due to how they look, which is why we have a full range of brace options to suit your specific requirements.

• Ceramic braces - these are less noticeable than standard braces and blend in with the colour of your teeth. They can be fitted on the upper, lower or both sets of teeth and improve confidence due to their clear look.
• Lingual braces - these are fitted to the inside of your teeth so that the braces aren't on display. This treatment gives high quality results and can improve misalignment of teeth.
• Iconix braces - these offer the best of both worlds. These are Champagne coloured braces that appear brighter and smaller than their traditional counterparts.
